Warning: before importing into new software, you must ABSOLUTELY delete all “dead” emails (expired domain names, companies that no longer exist, etc.), Spam Traps (emails created to attract spammers who collect emails on the web), emails from temporary email tools (eg yopmail…), generic emails (eg … unless your customers are VSEs of course).

For this I used the free  software  hIt only takes 15 minutes to clean one file.

It is essential to do this before launching the import, otherwise your file risks being refused, or even being considered a spammer!

For example, before going to Get Responses to integrate my emails, I had cleaned my database in order to remove spam traps, invalid emails, etc. so that my import was not refused.

What I like about Get Response:

Try Get Response on this link.

In addition to Get Response, I strongly recommend Send in blue (see below), which offers one of the best quality/price ratios.

 Send in Blue

The Top 11 emailing software, from free emailing software to the most powerful emailing solutions!  17

I transferred a first wave of 6,000 subscribers to test, then 80,000 subscribers to Send in Blue because I no longer want to pay the high price on Get Response or Aweber for non-active subscribers (non-openers, etc.) or lists on which I I have few products to sell (ex: my list on salespeople…).

I was looking for a “simple” eMailing tool rather than an advanced marketing automation tool, and above all with a rate for sending emails and not for the number of subscribers registered on the site.

For example, with Get Response I send an average of 1 email every 15 days to my list, which means that a person receives 2 emails per month… So for 10,000 subscribers, I send 20,000 emails. With Send in blue, I can send 1 email once a month to 20,000 people… which is much cheaper.

Note: I hesitated with Mailjet (with a similar price and fewer limitations) but Send In Blue offers very interesting functions such as dedicated IP at less than 100 € / year, sending SMS campaigns, better management emails in Gmail…

The objective with Send In blue is to send emailings on an ad hoc basis, and not to send sequences of automatic messages to convert subscribers.

Aweber is my first eMailing solution, I have been a customer for almost 10 years and I still have an account with over 10,000 subscribers.

This eMailing software is one of the first auto responders on the market, and for years it was the only marketing automation solution (auto responder) accessible to everyone.

The great strength of Aweber is its simplicity in setting up an automation marketing campaign.

The tool is really designed to launch in 15 minutes a sequence of sending messages following a download, a form filling… (even if we can send newsletters in a more traditional way or promotional emailings).

The problem is that for nearly 10 years Aweber has hardly evolved

It is important to note that Aweber has (finally) decided to evolve its functions and design over the past 2 years.

With these latest developments, Aweber is catching up a good part of its delay compared to its competitors, and it really becomes a real solution for doing marketing automation when you work in web marketing (blogger, freelancer, web marketer, etc.).

Why am I not continuing on Aweber despite the latest developments?

That being said, Aweber remains one of the best tools on the market, and if you want a simple and universal marketing automation tool, I invite you to test it.

I recommend Aweber if you find that Get Response is too complicated for you and you especially want to do marketing automation in web marketing.
